Book Description

A very rare Baedeker. The first and only edition, most other copies were destroyed by RAF bombers early in WW2. This is an essentially excellent copy, bright and sharp all over. This year my stand at the York Book Fair (number 38) will consist almost entirely of guide books, travel, topography and maps. The collection stretches from Alaska to New Zealand and everywhere in between. It includes standard works from Baedeker, Murray and Cook as well as a great many more obscure works not generally available in commerce.
