Book Description

A scathing letter, peppered with horticultural references. Sheridan (latterly drinking six bottles of port a day) is also a subject of attack, his floral offerings including old succulents and hops on the vine. Sender is unclear and addressee in Manchester Square is unlikely to have been an Empress.
