Book Description
1st edition, large paper copy. 169 pages including detailed indexes. The subtitle is "A Record of the History, Antiquities, Folk-Lore, and Old Customs of the Ancient Parish of Overblow in the West Riding of Yorkshire with Brief Notices of Adjacent Places".One very good map + a number of good illustrations. A little foxing of preliminaries. Previous owner's name neatly written at top corner of front end paper. Splendid half calf binding with marbled boards. I guess it must have been rebound at one time in a traditional and very skillful way. A very attractive large paper copy of this scarce book by Harry Speight. EXTRA POSTAGE WILL BE REQUIRED OUTSIDE UK.
