First edition, 316pp, photographs, red cloth boards, gilt titles, dustwrapper. The contents are in very good condition, with an inscription to the front pastedown. The dustwrapper is in very good condition, with a little nibbling to the top and bottom of the spine and corners. Geoffrey J. Morton, BEM (1907-1996) was a member of the Palestine Police until 1945. He then worked in Trinidad before ending his career in 1954 as deputy police commissioner of Nyasaland (now Malawi).
