Paperback. vi,58pp. Maps to endpapers. Frontis portrait, title page vignette and six further plates. Third impression. conceived by Emma Austen-Leigh and completed after her death by her brother Richard Austen Leigh. The siblings were the grandchildren of Jane Austen’s nephew Rev James Edward Austen Leigh (1798-1874). Portrait oval cartouche to front. Over-sized paper cover is slightly creased and rolled to edges with a very few tiny nicks. Unevenly tanned. Some slight dust and finger marking externally. One page has a once tear to the lower margin. Slightly foxed to closed page edges. Text is otherwise clean. Binding is sound.
