Irish handkerchief embroidered to commemorate the Irish Exhibition in London in 1888. Size 33 by 33 cm. The cotton handkerchief was embroidered by a Marryann Burly (?) who added her name and the date and details of the exhibition in silk thread. Two small clear stains and some folds but complete and in overall good condition.
