Intent to Kill.

Book Description
First edition. NF/NF. No inscriptions, offsetting to front endpaper, unmarked boards, an unread copy in a near fine wrapper with minute wear to spine ends complete with ‘Thriller of the Month’ publisher’s wraparound band. Correctly priced at 10s 6d.
Dealer Notes
A crime novel set in Montreal.
Michael Bryan is a pseudonym used by Brian Moore who was a highly regarded Irish author who began his career as a thriller writer. This was Moore's seventh novel overall, the sixth of his seven potboiler crime novels, and the first of the two under the "Michael Bryan" pseudonym.
Intent to Kill is, along with Murder in Majorca (1958), his scarcest book especially with the publisher’s wraparound band. It was also the first of a number of his novels to be the basis of a film (Intent to Kill, 1958), starring Richard Todd, Betsy Drake and Herbert Lom. A very attractive Book into Film title and rare in this condition.
