I, Leonardo
Book Description
1st Edition, 1st Printing. 30 x 27 cm green cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine, khaki endpapers, unpaginated with black and white and colour illustrations. Original unclipped dust jacket £9.95 net. Signed by the author to the half title page with a drawing of his trade mark sad face and dated 14 Dec ‘83.
There is a 0.5cm strip of fading along the bottom edge and a small ding along the bottom edge of both front and back boards. Internally, it is clean and bright with just the author’s signature. The dust jacket, which is now protected in a removable clear cover (not shown), presents well but has a little rubbing to the top and bottom edges, with a little surface abrasion and minimal loss to the bottom corner of the front panel and to a lesser extent to the top and bottom edges. There are six small tears of between 0.5-1cm on the top and bottom edges with associated light creasing and a similar length tear across the fore edge of the front panel. A lovely signed 1st Edition copy of Steadman’s unique take on the life of Leonardo Da Vinci.
