Signed by both the author and her daughter. Bookplate from Kenn Back (1942-, Meteorologist for the British Antarctic Survey and descendant of the Arctic explorer Captain George Back). Pictoral finished card covers with red and black lettering to spine and front. Covers are generally in good order, just a little shelfwear. Slight bumping to corners, some subsequent curling to fore edge. Spine is intact and bright with just a little mild bumping to ends. Pages edges are just a little grubby. Textblock is tight, bright and clean. 318 pp. Additional photos are available upon request. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 539g. (YBP Ref: 032167:3-G9)
