C1920's. A beautiful copy in green cloth covers with extensive gilt & colour design and gilt lettering to upper board and spine. Decorative endpapers, vignette title page, 17 tipped in colour plates plus several back & white line drawings within the text. Overall a little fragile with light marks to rear board, slight rubbing to gilt on upper board - still looking quite bright, light rubbing and creasing to the spine, light bumping to corners and rubbing/fraying to edges and corners. Some movement to upper boards - still attached, and frontispiece plus 2 other plates loose but with all plates present. Overall with clean pages, a touch of foxing to margins, light marks to pages, minor edge tears to bottom of pages and a couple of larger tears.
