There is toning to the spine and splits in the cloth along the spine edge of 2cm at the rear and 1 cm at the front and rubbing the spine tips. Despite this the binding remains firm. Internally the book is without names inscriptions or book plates and the pages are clean noting only a little light spotting most obviously to the verso of the endpapers and adjacent page but also a little to the edges.
