Book Description
The First UK Printing published by The Oxford University Press (UK) in 1979. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. A little pushing to the lower spine end. Light toning to the text block and end papers in places. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is neatly price-clipped and is in Very Good++ or better condition with just some fading of the brown colouring to the spine and a small rubbed area at the lower rear spine fold. The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. The book has been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page. The acclaimed scientist's ground breaking book on the 'Gaia hypothesis'. Very scarce with such attributes.
