Large, hand-coloured folding map, dissected and laid on to linen, 50 x 40 inches overall, Some skilfully repairs to the linen backing and new marbled paper covered slipcase with a new printed label. An attractive map in good condition, colour still fresh.

This map was first published as ‘Froggett’s Survey of the Country Thirty Miles round London’ which was published in 1831, about 1840 it passed into Cruchleys hands and was reissued several times with new additions, as in this case, this issue is identified by Hyde No 333 as showing the London Chatham and Dover railway extended to Mansion House, and the Great Easton Railway extended to Liverpool Street.
