Book Description

This is a 1st edition H/Bk copy of “From The Cockpit” by Bruce McLaren and published by Frederick Muller in 1964 with its unclipped dust jacket. The book traces Bruce McLaren's career in Motor Sport both as a driver and founding the McLaren Motor Racing Team which survives to this day. Bruce McLaren unfortunately died tragically when testing a new car at Goodwood in 1970 at the age of 32. The book has 278 pages and 12 pages of black and white photographs. There is a previous owners name on the front end paper but I have not found any other marks or inscriptions in the book. The dust jacket is in good condition with only minor nicks and rubbing to the edges. The book is cocked but not badly and there is a stain on the front end paper. Overseas purchasers will incur extra posal charges. Also, if you have any questions about the book or its content please email me.
