Published in London by Sampson Low, this is one of the hardest Jules Verne titles to find in any Edition, this new and cheaper edition published circa 1900 contains 32 full page illustrations; the First edition contained 72 illustrations, book features a very attractive pictorial binding with gilt titling, just over 7.25 inches tall, 303 pages. the binding has some mild rubbing wear, some fraying to spine ends else covers are in nice general condition, internally endpapers heavily browned with remains of a removed presentation bookplate to front pastedown, some cracking to inner joints, creasing to a few page corners within (pictured) else in very good general condition
