FIRST EDITION. 8vo, pp. 320. Original red cloth, spine lettered in gilt. Top edge red, bottom edge untrimmed. Attractive map endpapers and numerous in-text drawings and full-page illustrations by Pamela Whitlock. A few bumps and a little soiled, pin puncture to spine. Occasional faint spotting, including to endpapers, else, internally, tight and bright. A very good copy of a charming book.
