Book Description
Published by A & C Black, London, 1918, 1st edition thus (previously published with 32 plates). Publishers original maroon cloth boards. Gilt lettering to spine, black lettering to front board. 9ins x 6.75ins, xiii, (i), 206pp plus 64pp tissue guarded colour plates and a sketch map. The paintings are by a number of artists including Rose Barton, Gordon Home, Herbert Marshall, Sutton Palmer and John Fulleylove. Free endpapers browned. One plate appears to have come loose and has been re-inserted just slightly proud of the rest of the text block. Very Good.
