934 Ecclesiastes or The preacher. Golden Cockerel Press. Limited Edition of 247. Copy number 20. The type used is the Golden Cockerel Fount designed by Eric Gill and the paper is Batchelor hand made watermarked for the Press,. Illustrations with engravings on each page by Blair Hughes-Stanton. Bound in quarter vellum with gilt embossed lettering to the spine and original publishers orange cloth boards. Upper edges guilt and other edges rough cut. Bookplate of Rainforth Armitage Walker (biographer of Aubrey Beardsley). MInor marks on boards, textblock is fresh, clean and tight. Lovely copy of this Limited Edition and with the Beardsley connection.
