Dealer Notes

Rena Gardiner (1929-1999) was a printmaker, author and artist living in Dorset. During her career she produced illustrated books and pamphlets about buildings, towns and the countryside, completing a number of publications for the National Trust. This book on Dorset is a beautifully illustrated history and guide to the numerous towns and buildings on the Isle of Purbeck. Locations included are: Arne, Church Knowle, Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge, Kingston, Langton Matravers, East Lulworth, Lulworth Cove, Steeple, Studland, Swanage, Tyneham and Worth Matravers. Each page of the book contains one or several lithogrpahs, mostly in colour, and most pages also feature some text related to the illustrations.
