Unique item because alongside the colour printed frontispiece, there is a beautifully hand coloured pictorial title page, several other hand coloured illustrations (5 in total) - the rest in their original b/w state. Publisher's grey cloth hardback boards, with title in purple to front and spine. With the original dust jacket, which is lightly nicked and soiled, and a little age toned. Attractive bird decorated endpapers. Some sporadic foxing, and to page edges, but delightful with previous owner's skilful hand colouring.
