Death at Broadcasting House

Book Description
Death at Broadcasting House by Val Gielgud and Holt Marvell [Eric Maschwitz] (Rich & Cowan Ltd, [2nd] reprint May 1934).
Val Gielgud (1900-81) and Eric Maschwitz (1901-69) collaborated on five detective novels published between 1933 and 1940, this being their second novel.
Hardback – publisher’s tourquoise cloth with title in orange to spine and author’s monogram to front board, page-block stained orange to top edge. pp. xii, 271, [1] publisher’s advertisment. Size: 7.5 x 5.25 inches approx. (192mm x 132mm).
Cloth showing mottling/fading to boards; spine darkened and marked (although not quite so dramatic as the images suggest); light wear to extremities. Internally: occasional foxing, some dustiness and the odd stain or mark, but pages generally clean; occasional corner crease; edges of page-block tanned, dusty and spotted.
Overall, remains a reasonably nice copy albeit lacking the dustwrapper.
