Book Description
First Edition; a rare early German childrens book consisting of 16 pages with 20 hand-coloured illustrations and verses. Front cover illustration (the male pulling a cart on which a Mohr doll sitting and holding a balloon) and coloured vignette (doll with male the Magician) on the back cover. In 1922 a self-published tiny edition of 46 copies with handwritten text & drawings was issued. Four titles were published by Herbert Stuffer between 1926 and 1938 of which this is the most scarce.
