Full dark brown Buffalo binding with 5 raised bands to the spine. Compartments lettered in gilt. Matching leather pastedowns and marbled free endpapers. All page edges dyed red. The binding is signed in gilt to the bottom of the rear inner board. The book is protected in a full black Buffalo chemise with gilt lettering to the front panel, beside a strip of four colour printed photos of Karl Marx. Spine ruled in blind. Yapp edges. The inside of the chemise is lined with lattice patterned dark brown and tan suede. Housed in a full Buffalo covered clamshell box with the same lattice suede lining. The spine is ruled in blind and lettered in gilt.
