Neat repair to tears in the title page of On Clothing and a few minor marks here and there, otherwise very good copies in early binding of quarter red calf. Spine with wide raised bands, each with gilt lattice design. Compartments ruled and decorated in gilt. Burgundy title label, gilt. Blue marbled paper on boards. Marbled endpapers. Some minor rubbing to the binding but overall very good. A selection of the many works published in Manchester by George Nicholson in the late 18th century, including two works, one poem and one prose, by Benjamin Franklin; Paper, and The way to wealth.
