The basis for the Oscar nominated 1954 film 'Three Coins In The Fountain' directed by Jean Negulesco and starring Clifton Webb, Dorothy McGuire, Jean Peters and Louis Jourdan. The song from the movie (same title as the movie) was an enduring romantic favourite for a couple of generations and won the 1954 Oscar for best original song. The story was remade as a musical in 1964 called 'The Pleasure Seekers' and then in 1990 was adapted into a TV film. Extremely scarce in the wrapper as the First UK edition.
