published in London in 1865 title page undated, but preface dated September 1st 1865, this is a lovely early folding linen backed chart of fossil crustacea, and their order in the geological time scale, covering Trilobites, Eurypterids, Lobsters, Crabs, Shrimps, etc, bound in cloth covers with accompanying 28 page descriptive text identifying the fossils figured on the chart, the chart measures 34 inches by 26 inches approx., folding down to 9 inches by 7 inches approx. the cloth covers are worn with some bumping wear and marking, spine has had a glue repair, some general browning to the chart else in good general condition.
