Dealer Notes
Anderson (1819-1889), a solicitor, made the ascent of Mont Blanc in 1855 with E. T. Coleman, artist and Alpine Club member. Though an original member of the Alpine Club, climbing at the start of the Golden age of Alpinism, Anderson is today considered to belong to the previous generation, and indeed his climbing career was fairly short.
