Book Description

Colour map, 48" x 30", dissected, mounted on linen and folded into green gilt blind cloth covers 8.5" x 5". The map is in excellent condition, a little marked verso, the covers are also in excellent condition, a touch worn and marked to the edges and spine and with a small sticker to the bottom right of the front cover.
Dealer Notes
The panel at the bottom refers to the 1891 census, hence our dating to circa 1892. An earlier edition from around 1872 is known, this refers to the 'Mineral District of South Wales' in its title. An attractive and rare map, only the second example we have seen.
