The story of an Aboriginal boy and his sister who, for short while, get lost in the Bush. The author/photographer lived with the Aborigines on Miligimbi Island and his book became very popular with children when first published as 'Piccaninny Walkabout'. It was chosen as Australian 'Children's Book of the Year'.
