Painting sizes 22.5 x 15.5 & 19.5 x 15.5 cm. Loosely mounted onto thick brown paper. Very good clean, unfaded condition. Pair of Original watercolours, late C19th / early C20th. Lovely paintings with the delicacy and charm associated with Buxton.

Albert Sorby Buxton (1867-1932)
Mansfield School Of Art & Slade School London.
Was an English painter from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Local Historian & antiquarian.
He returned from London in the 1890’s and took over as head of his old School of Art.
Has a permanent exhibition at the Mansfield Museum.
