Octavo (234 x 156mm), pp. 267, [5 (blank)]. 16 plates with half-tone illustrations recto-and-verso. 5 maps in the text, 3 full-page. Original black boards titled in gilt on the spine, dustwrapper. (Dustwrapper price-clipped and with very slight rubbing and chipping at the edges of the dustwrapper.) Provenance: Derek Nappa, August 1985 (neat ownership inscription on the front free endpaper).
