Book Description
The First Edition in book form having been serialised in the Atlantic Monthly under the title "What Luck" it was later issued in the UK under the title "Its too late now; The autobiography of a writer" It is here in a bespoke [home-made]dustwrapper made from fragments of the scarce original with the bookplate of Frances Page and a couple of related items loosely inserted. Large 8vo 315pps [untrimmed] +5 blanks, pale blue endpapers stained at the paste down as I imagine all copies to be, as clearly caused by the binders glue.
