Book Description

Published by Jack Brussel, New York, 1967, 1st edition thus. Orange cloth boards, blue lettering to spine, blue image of woman (Bathyllus) to front board under orange and black dustwrapper. 6.75ins x 5.5ins, 112pp plus 85pp plates. First 56pp comprise the biography, then List of Drawings by Aymer Vallance. Note Half title page is spelt "Aubrfy Beardsley". Also there is a title page and half title then the pagination starts with p11. This is because the text has been lifted word for word from the John Lane title of 1909. That had 16 plates, so the list of plates has been omitted and the dedication page here appears after P13. One half of the spine of the dw should be orange but has faded to yellow. VG / G
