Rebacked at some point, with some repairs. Leather chipped and a little worn. Gilt worn. Volume one with a colour map from another book pasted to front endpaper. The front hinge of volume two is pulled and open, but binding tight and holding. Internally very good, with a little foxing to the prelims. Publisher's adverts leaf is absent. Some offsetting against the plates, and some markings to the endpapers. Floding map a little worn. Some reinforcement. A decent copy overall.
