Australia: [Australian Life Biograph Company], [1912] Revolver shaped 8 page booklet 165 x 110 mm. describing the plot of this silent film directed by Gaston Mervale and starring Louise Lovely, who later made a name for herself in Hollywood. This item may have at some time been mounted and will bear traces on the reverse of adhesive or removal of mounts. An unusual promotional gimmick issued for the U.K. release of the film which was based on the popular play of the same name by Tom Taylor [1863], in turn based on the French drama Le Retour de Melun.
