This presentation gift for Edward Lavers, accompanist to the Brighouse, was made 'as a Mark of Appreciation for Valued Services' in April, 1918. The gift consists of many vocal scores bound together, the scores stamped Brighouse Male Voice Choir or Brighouse Prize Glee Union. A stamp of Thornton & Boothroyd Music Dealers Brighouse has the local connection. Scores include the Wanderers Song by Delius, Pilgrims' Chorus by Wagner, Soldiers' Chorus by Gounod, the Russian National Anthem, Belgian Ntional Song,
