2 vols set, with 45 mostly tissue-guarded aquatint plates present (ie two additional plates to those listed) with sepia printed vignettes to title pages, probably an early rebind with leaves trimmed losing portion of imprint details and part of ownership signature 'Josephus Parry' to tile pages, xvi, 213 (prints list bound in at rear so not in sequence) ; vi, 209 (1) pp, ending with an advert to the author's forthcoming 'River Thames' list of artists in each volume. The author took an art and sketching tour and here presents the results in letters and sketches by him and the Dutch artist Cornelius Apostool with the heraldic bookplate of William Rogers to vol. I, few recent owner's ms notes to front paste-down boards scuffed
