Book Description
A New Law Dictionary containing the Interpretation and Definition of Words and Terms used in the Law; and also the whole Law and the Practice thereof, Under all the Heads and Titles of the same. 22.5 x 30 cm. The binding has been sympathetically restored and the book rebacked with an added label bearing gilt stamped titles. The corners and parts of the edges have been professionally conserved at some point. Internally there is an old bookseller’s price in pencil to the front pastedown, together with a small book plate and a book binders mark and there is some rubbing to the pastedowns. The hinges have been strengthened with tape and the binding is firm. There is a little chipping to the fore edge of the front free endpaper, an old conservation/repairs to chips in the fore edge margins of the last five pages and some ten leaves. However the text pages are clean with only the occasional finger mark.
