Book Description

Folding map with full original wash colouring. Mounted on linen folding into 24 sections in original marbled slip case with title on the upper board. Size: 700 x 605 mm. In 1844 Cruchley took over the stock of George and John Cary, republishing Cary's maps and atlases and his own stock until 1876. His firm was based in Ludgate Street where this map was published, he later moved to Fleet Street where in 1867 his entire stock was sold.
