Book Description

Published by Davies and Co, Brecon, 1904, 2nd edition. Red cloth boards, gilt lettering to spine. 12.25ins x 10ins, marbled endpapers, xxxi, (i), 364pp, plus 5pp portrait plates. Many illustrations within the text. There is a new foreword (entitled "to the Reader") written by Edwin Davies. The publishers have added a list of sheriffs, the parliamentary history of the county and a biographical sketch of the author. There is minor staining to the edge of the first portrait plate. Also some scattered light foxing. Externally the boards are rubbed and a bit worn but holding soundly. G+.
