Book Description

This is a 1st H/Bk copy of “A Highland Regiment” by Lt. Ewart Alan Mackintosh MC of The Seaforth Highlanders and published by John Lane, The Bodley Head in 1917. Lt. Mackintosh died on 21st November 1917 at Cambrai, France. There is no dust wrapper. The book has 96 pages of text. There is a previous owners name and date in pencil on the front end paper and someone has written “anon” in pencil in the list of titles and against several of the poems. There is no foxing, however, the boards are faded, rubbed and stained and the corners are bumped. If you have any questions about the book or its content please email me.
