The Title Page Calls For Seventy-Two Colour Washes, The Book Contains One Hundred And Twenty.
More plates were added as it went through the editions, without changing the title. These are very bright, unfaded & actual watercolour specimens from the era. Interestingly they have the price written in pencil underneath, quite beautiful.
Also bound in at the rear, is a 64pp b&w illustrated catalogue by Winsor & Newton
