Book Description

Hardback. 320pp. Novel. With signed letter by Elizabeth Goudge from her Peppard common address - a typed letter with additional five and a half lines in fountain pen. Third impression. This is the first in the Torminster Saga which ends with Henrietta’s House. Red blind stamped cloth to boards with black titles to spine. Slightly faded. Rubbed to points. Two nearly three inches of inner front hinge is split to the endpaper showing the webbing beneath, there is a bit of movement but binding remains sound. Very clean. Letter is very clean and neat.
