Book Description
A Christmas Carol 139 pages with 27 illustrations ; The Chimes 147 pages with 30 illustrations; The Haunted Man 160 pages with 30 illustrations ; The Battle of Life 144 pages with 29 illustrations & The Cricket on the Hearth 140 pages with 22 illustrations. All five have elaborate endpapers with the Pears logo surrounded by their royal appointments together with an introduction by Clement K Shorter and 2 pages of adverts, one with Bubbles, the other with a baby. The two volumes with an uneven number of pages have an additional advert for Pears Cyclpaedia. All measure 6.4 by 8.3 inches approx.
