Small 4to., [viii], 148pp., colour frontispiece and 2 other colour plates (each with printed tissue guard), 20 other b/w illustrations by Peter Scott, top edges gilt, other pages untrimmed. Rebound by a skilled binder (looks like Sangorski & Sutcliffe) without a binder’s mark in half green morocco leather with green cloth boards. A practically fine handsome copy of this lovely illustrated work on ornithology. SIGNED & NUMBERED LIMITED EDITION OF 350 OF 550 COPIES, neatly signed by both E. Hilton Young and Peter Scott.
