Book Description

Pen and ink drawing on paper of a man and woman on a horse and trap. A sign post behind them states 16 miles from London and points to Turn Pikes. There are pin holes to the corners with rusted marks around them. The upper left corner has been torn away at some point. Undated but mid to late 19th century. Light browning and occasional spotting to the paper which has a partial Whatman watermark dated 1836. The paper measures approximately 14.5 x 20.5cm.
