Book Description
A fine mid 19th century 'Fox & Geese' game. A lovely three-footed wooden board and a range of white and coloured bone pegs for playing. Usually played with 13 to 17 'geese' and one 'fox', this is an unusual 'two fox' version (two foxes and 27 geese). Board in lovely condition, with just an odd mark or two; playing pieces also good, with minor damage to one or two (see photos0. Lovely example of a historic game for the connoisseur....
