This is an original Typed Manuscript, along with the original drawings for a very rare Children’s book which was published in 1922 with the title “Queer Town: A Story for Children” with four copies located on Copac including the British Library copy. This the original typed manuscript for the book carrying the author’s original title which was “The Odd Ways of Queer Town”, the book is bound as a hardback format with what appears to be a printed cover, though it could be original artwork, it’s quite hard to tell in its worn state, the story is a delightfully illustrated tale involving characters from famous Nursery Rhymes included in the story line, 11 inches tall approx., with forty pages of typed script, the final page being signed by the author, and illustrated with thirty three beautifully drawn original pen and ink drawings plus the cover art, the book is in a worn state, rubbed and worn at edges, internally four pages have taped repairs to the text pages, one text page has a small piece missing from lower edge affecting a couple of words of text, else a good portion of the book is pictured in the listing so condition can be seen. The authors original manuscript copy of this charmingly illustrated children’s book
