If you are considering parting with books - whether inherited, bought for your collection, or just gathering dust - please consider selling to a PBFA member. Many of our members are always interested in buying books to add to their stock, and will consider most things from single items, small, medium and large collections as well as very specialised collections. As our members have a wealth of experience and knowledge, very often gained over a long professional career, we trust them to offer impartial but expert advice. At no time is there any obligation for you to sell to any of them unless you are completely happy with the terms; this is one of the benefits of dealing with a professional association. To contact any of our members please use the Dealer Directory section of this website, where you can search for members by geographical or subject matter, or by name. Alternatively, please feel welcome to contact the PBFA office, preferably by email to info@pbfa.org and we can send you details of members who may be able to offer advice or even to purchase from you. If at all possible, please give at least the following details of the items you are interested in offering - title, author, edition, date, and your opinion of the condition of the book(s); this will help speed up the process. Many PBFA members also offer valuations for probate and insurance; charges may be made for these, as they may be for valuations of some collections. Please enquire first.
