PBFA Premier Book Fairs

The PBFA's successful programme of Premier Fairs continued in 2008 and is being enhanced in 2009 with the addition of a 2 day fair in Oxford. 75 exhibitors are already booked in for this, which will be held at the Main Hall, Oxford Brookes University in Gipsy Lane, Headington. Anyone familiar with PBFA fairs in Oxford will realise this is the same excellent venue we use for our prestigious Fine Press fairs (which returns in 2009).

The 2008 York Premier Fair, held on 12th and 13th September 2008, had a new 'image' designed by noted artist Mark Hearld. A small number of signed, limited edition A1 posters are still available for sale at the fair; please contact the PBFA office if you would like to buy a copy. The poster design can be seen here.

Our full list of 2009 Premier Fairs is as follows:

Oxford - January 24th & 25th at Oxford Brookes University, Gipsy Lane, Headington

Cambridge - February 20th & 21st at The Guildhall, Market Square.

Edinburgh - March 13th & 14th at The Assembly Rooms, George Street. A joint fair with the ABA.

Harrogate - March 20th & 21st at the Pavilions of Harrogate, Great Yorkshire Showground.

Bath - April 17th & 18th at The Assembly Rooms.

York - September 11th & 12th at the Knavesmire Suite, York Racecourse.
